1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'm not sure lazy idioms are what Orwell was concerned about back in the day.

Its not likely, but you cant entirely exclude the possibility he/she was post op with a form of phantom limb syndrome.

I often drive home from the office fairly late on Fridays and Saturdays. It seems like people are worse drivers then, probably because they are betrunken. Today I pert near got hit by someone crossing into my lane, but I reacted quickly enough to avoid danger. I'm happy I avoided danger, of course, but PO'd that I had to in the first place.

Okay there's a guy at work now all of a sudden everyone is calling him "Thefta" because they think he stole a cracker from the bin. But I am bucking the trend won't call the guy "Thefta." I'm like "You stupid son of a bitch's probably just miscounted the crackers in the bin!" But seriously, who counts the crackers in a bin to where they'd call a person "Thefta" in the first place? If anyone deserves insulting names, it's them.
