1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

it was in another thread, but my wife bought awful toilet paper once. it was something ego friendly, but one ends up using way more of it since it's so thin and shitty. And it would always shred when you went to break off a piece, I couldn't deal with it. Extra soft Charmin or GTFO.

Charmin Ultra Strong is the winner.

Soft enough (unless you are some kind of pansy) and so tough that you can use very little of it at a time.

my wife used to skimp on dishwashing liquid. its Joy ultra or nothing for me.

they've been showing a lot of older spike lee movies on HBO. times have changed with the areas/locations they shot at.... there's a scene in Mo Better Blues where two guys are throwing around a baseball near the brooklyn bridge.... nowadays that place is super touristy brooklyn bridge park, the police would stop anyone trying to throw a baseball around, and the line for girmaldi's and a row of citiBikes would be seen in the background.

plus a lot less black people.

I do think that the play on words is often on target. I think Manton would agree the Prius is ego friendly.

I've come to like Method with the pump.

whenever i'm out of town and have a rental car, it's always a stop at Target to load up on shit like laundry detergent, liquid hand soap, shower cleaner, lysol wipes, dishwashing soap, etc, etc, etc.

Shit is so stupidly expensive at Duane Reade that it's worth having to haul 5+ Target bags up the stairs.

I was in the neighborhood on tuesday and saw that Associated is opening up a market on Grand. Only it's a "fresh Market" that i guess will specialize in produce and meats.

So hard to keep up with the filming these days. Always on my block. It is annoying because I have to walk to the train past these hug film crews and their expansive catering spreads knowing I won't be eating for another 12-14 hours...

The adjectives people use on Yelp. Makes me want to stab myself in the neck.
