Car dealership called. "We aren't sure exactly what the problem is. We have to remove half the engine and will let you know".

Remove half the engine? How is that even possible?

How USPS International Priority Mail is anything but. Not really pissed off but amazed that the madras shirt I ordered from Ratio Clothing headed south to Miami before being shipped to Canada. I think this package will see more of the US East Coast than I ever will.

focus on nailing the verbal part. I took a practice test once (using the actual GMAT program), and since I was focusing on verbal only I half assed the quant section just to get it over with. Ended up scoring 50th percentile in quant, whatever, but 98th percentile in verbal and the overall score was 710.

hmmm, wasn't intended to be. the 710 was like 92nd or something percentile overall, so my point was you could bomb the quant part but still score really high with a solid verbal score, so a lot of focus should certainly be on this part. the quant is really hard overall, and the scores are skewed that way because 25% or so of all gmat test takers are now in Asia.

Don't forget engineers represent the largest discipline taking the GMAT. This probably explains both why it's hard for non-engineers to break the 90th percentile in quant but all us are topping the charts in verbal.

Every time I get pants (office) made up, they are all be like "how much of break would you like?" And then I say "short break please." And then they say "Are you sure you wouldn't prefer full or medium of break?" I have to repeat the name of the break I want, which grinds my gears after a bit.

I can't get myself to pull the trigger on these CP sneakers for $420.. just seems so unreasonable and against my purchasing habits.

Then again, the last time I spent this much on sneakers was in 2008.

But I really, really, really want them!

The worst part is the fact that I want them in two different colors, so if I get this pair, I know I'm going to end up getting the second pair.. so $840 for two pairs of shoes? Hmm.. I'd rather get some EG Westminsters at that point.

    Fuck.

    Wat2do?

Edit: Screw it, going to get Vans for $45 a pair instead.

I always check those sales out, but the styles I want, and most importantly, my size, are never available.

    :(

I think all international mail goes through NY, Miami, Chicago, SF or LA.
Stuff from Vancouver always goes through SF before getting to Seattle.

Spotify is always telling me that if I like x, then there's a really good chance I'll enjoy y as well. But you wanna know what? In only about 2% of cases do I actually enjoy y.

On the other hand, they told me I might like Still Corners based on my listening to something else (I forget what), and now I am listening to them almost nonstop. Maybe that's worth the very high failure rate.
