1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks, JayJay! My performance in those three areas has been much better than what's required for tenure at my university, so it would be really shocking if I didn't make it. But of course I don't take anything for granted.

Also, HRoi makes what might turn out to be the decisive point.

Good luck on the exam. All you need is a pass, and I have a feeling you got that. All the best, and get well.

I am a neat freak and my fiancee is, well, not. She is just messy. It frustrates me because I used to be a complete slob but I turned things around and started taking a lot of pride in where I live once I owned my own home. I don't feel like things like this are as huge as they seem in the moment, but its just things that I find irritating.

Was feeling lethargic after dinner so I went to the gym at 8 to run sprints. Spent the whole night in that exhausted but too amped up to sleep mode

Sorry to hear that, yea I have the same problem, if I go to the gym past 9 I would usually feel more pumped immediately then super tired (especially after a shower)

Good move. If your score improves significantly, I'd consider better programs.

certain grains are good... Quinoa is actually very good for you because it is as much protein as it is carbs. It also tends to be far less processed than other more common grains. Grains in moderation are not bad, the problem is, most of us eat way more than we should on a daily basis.

I recently started a diet where I can't eat wheat, rice, regular potatoes (yukon gold and red are OK), or any kind of dairy besides milk Kefir. I can however it as much meat as I please (so long as it doesn't fill me up 100%). The other day I had a 14 oz steak for lunch and I lost 1 pound that day. I've lost 8 pounds in a week with zero exercise.

The bottom line here is that most food groups are just fine for you as long as you consume in moderation.
