Once the zombie apocalypse/race war/rebirth of Jesus happens those things will be worth their weight in gold. When the shit hits the fan I'm coming to your house to plunder those q-tips.

While they are Q-Tip brand, it is unwise to use a brand name to describe a generic item.

Tell that to the undead hoardes coming to eat your brains and save your immortal soul.

It ain't all wine and roses as you climb the ladder. Depending on the culture and your own highers-up, you may be forced into a game of CYA and blaming your subordinates because you can't afford to take any stains on your record. Worse, because there are - by nature - fewer positions available in said pay grade (not as precise a term as I'd like but you get the point), your mobility falls by degrees.

God it must suck to have a real job. Even the kiddie rapists for whom I've lost their cases thank me for defending them. My biggest fan is serving 40 years in prison right now.

Dammit, you beat me to it.

But seriously, Harvey, you have many more fans than you realize.

Sorry, should have noted that it was Open Arms. Some Journey songs are tolerable, Open Arms is not.

I do this on a regular basis. I have enough Q-Tips to build a raft. I will be prepared when Waterworld comes, while the rest of you peons swim around looking for the last dry land on earth.

things were really hectic at work today, and the girl who works at the store got really flustered after a bunch of things went wrong. almost in tears. truth is, its totally not her fault. she has way to many responsibilities in the store, and there is no structure to her day.

she has shipping responsibilities, receiving responsibilities, waiting on customers, handling repairs .... and a bunch of other stuff. there is no order to it, people (not me) just bark stuff at her all day, and there is no order to it, or official task setting.

i have taken it upon myself to establish order in this area, because things are getting fucked up, and the wrong people are getting blamed. i took over the inventory system recently and got that in order, now i need to straighten out some personel and job definition issues.

it doesnt piss me off that i have to it, but it does piss me off that everything is so scattered and disorganized that people are left in tears. i hope i can get this done properly. wish me luck!

Just had my first plagiarism case of the semester. If you are in Intro Philosophy and you haven't talked about Aristotle, you should not say in your Descartes paper that his conception of essence is meant as a strong reaction against Aristotelian empiricism. (Because if you do that, it will be obvious that you plagiarized.) What's worse, the plagiarized point isn't even very good.
