The solution to your problem is to buy the lady in question a scarf (such as the kind made by Hermes, for example).

Seriously, though, I wish more women integrated scarves into their wardrobes. They make nearly any woman look better.

I like scarves as well but her tastes are more hipster so I'm not sure she would appreciate a Hermes scarf as much as you or I. The article of clothing in question is leggings btw. Aztec print to be exact.

Even with scarves, you can go wrong...

I just take my wife shopping and buy something when she doesn't expect it...

Don't buy clothes for women. It's a losing game. They like to shop for their own clothes. Purses and jewelry work better.

I have never bought Aztec print leggings for a lady, but I have to imagine it would be one of the hardest articles of clothing to buy. Good luck making the purchase in such a way that you don't end up getting yelled at.

Maybe you can go wrong with scarves, but I'm confident that I would not. :)

Haha, no! Sometimes the words I speak are not meant to be true, but rather to produce the rhetorical effect of cheering up the addressee. This was one of those cases. (Previous sentence was meant to be true.)

Well you probably mean "Haha, yes"! Because you are a logical thinker who doesn't believe in luck. My bank account awaits the top up. :)

The 'we must moderate your post before it appears' thing is getting on my nerves a bit. I get you want to prevent spam, but I would think after a few days/posts you can let up.

I'm leaving the country for a while tomorrow, and just like every time I travel, I am irrationally worried that I'm forgetting something important. I never actually forget anything important, but I'm always haunted by the worry that I will. (For context, I'm also the kind of person who checks three or four times before I leave my condo to make sure I haven't left the iron on. I have never once actually left the iron on.)

I've also got to decide yet which fragrances to bring. As any man knows, that's a hard choice.
