1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Yeah I actually walked into a clinic down the street this afternoon. They said no fracture, thank god. I apparently injured the ligament holding my tooth in place and I can expect it to be inflamed for about a week or so.

DerekS is that one guy who always hangs around and thinks he's people's friend but he's not because he sucks.

    Be nice to Conne, Piob.

I don't like my tailor. Failed on my shoulder. Had it remade. Failed again (though one of the jackets they got alright). Told them to fuck off and I'm going to have an alterations tailor fix it (she understands my shoulder). It sucks because this one was within walking distance from the office and I was able to go get fittings during lunch (and one of the assistants is very attractive). Would've been nice if they were competent. Going back to my old tailor; they treated me like shit but at least they knew what they were doing.

no I don't and thank God I don't. I do get audited by regulators and that alone is enough to make me near-homicidal

my issue with faxing is mainly that every process I use that requires faxing ends up with me in most-fucked status if that fax doesn't get to the right person (such as the aforementioned government processes)

I have to deal with regulators as well. They take up a lot of my valuable time to just to give themselves something to do it seems. It is like they are trying to justify their existence. Bunch of assholes, they are.

I literally don't even know the password to my work voicemail. If anyone leaves a message, no way I'm even bothering to check it. Just send an email.

Besides, only shady recruiters call my desk phone anyways.

Faxing is a clusterfuck too. Seems like it never ever ends up getting there, to the person to which it needs to go, in readable condition.

Scan-to-email is the way to go.

poor ed. its kinda pitiful to know someone with such a lack of self awareness. Its comical how you've built up this mental image you have of yourself.. I guess its your attempt to make up for the affection your mother gave to the Mailman instead of you.

    :)

id rather be intimate witha garbage disposal than spend an evening with ed

Don't knock it til you've tried it (both the garbage disposal and ed).

About to head off to a three hour meeting on a topic that I've probably spent 90 hours in the last year meeting on and it was apparent to me prior to the first meeting the whole topic was a non-starter. However, this involves some of my strategic partners so I have to remind myself the process is important. Important if you're an idiot.

The humidity in Dallas is atrocious.

Also, I have company coming today and my house is a fucking mess. Why did I let it get this bad? :fu:

Well Dallas is just a shithole in general, so complaining about the weather there is like complaining about the weather in Hell.
