I'm shocked you're only at 400 posts, I would have sworn that you posted that many anti-censorship rants a day.

I just examined three months worth of bank statements. It appears that 40 to 50 percent of my monthly net income is going to bar tabs, restaurants, diners, and other wasteful food/beverage/leisure expenditures. What a freakin' wake up call. No wonder I'm always broke. Time for some changes!

:bigstar: I enjoy being predictable.

Did you do your expenses analysis manually, or with a website/program? I like Yodlee, I know other people have recommended Mint. Makes things a lot easier, can see everything at a glance without having to manually enter a bunch of crap.

My wife and I hadn't been great at tracking our spending, so I finally badgered her into adding all her accounts to Yodlee. Nothing stood out when we looked at our expenses individually, but combined it turned out we were spending a lot more on certain things than we thought. Always good to pin these things down.

May the the whistle of the Grasshopper be forever in your ear.

LOL I though they knighted him for services to sport. Either that or someone from Phillip St wacked him.

I know a lot of people who would do the same. My rent is 16% of monthly net. Hard to beat.

I cut the inside of my lip after biting down on a staple. (I should have known the staple was there, but it didn't occur to me at the time.)
Also, Brennetta (the cashier at the grocery store) could have been a little bit more friendly as I checked out. She just didn't have that winsome demeanor tonight.
