They've been telling us about this for a while. In my typical fashion, I kept putting off archiving my courses. I'm an idiot.

my fucking puppy can still be walked/jogged 3 miles, have a 40min playfight with an adult bulldog, boxer, and pitbull... and still be running around the house like a fucking lunatic afterwards chewing everything to bits.

Not so much pissing me off as it is just irritating: There's a subset of friends (two couples) within my main social circle that only seems to have an interest in doing something if it was their idea. And it's not even a matter of clashing interests, either. If you suggest heading out to a bar, there's a low chance they will take you up on it. If any of them do, it's always the two males of the four, almost never the two girls. But if they're the ones to suggest going to the bar, then come one, come all! Phones blow up with texts about it, Facebook is buzzing with notices about this great bar happening.

This behavior by them doesn't seem to be exclusive to just a few people, either. They are often the ones to throw holiday and summer parties, but I've noticed that the RSVP "yeses" for these things have continued to get leaner as this foursome makes themselves more insulated from everyone else the rest of the time. Right now, only 13 people have confirmed their 4th of July party next week (four of those, of course, being this group), which is a pretty big contrast to even a year ago.

fucking bicycle front derailleurs- why can't they all just be standardized ?? now the derailleur of the moment is direct mount, as opposed to clamped, which isn't the same as the e-type, but then you have to check the manual if what the bike needs is top pull or bottom pull. oh, and is it top swing or bottom swing? and btw, what I need was a direct mount, and I've looked around here and there's no one that sells that, so now I have to have one shipped.

    Just wildly inappropriate, man.

This conversation has gone far enough. Don't talk to me anymore. Thanks.

I just read on styleforum or maybe superfuture about someone going into Panera recently and eavesdropping on some guy's god talk, what gives? Is Panera a Christian safe haven or something?

They canned Ann Curry from NBC's Today Show instead of Jenna Wolfe.

They could be, quite easily. "give us this day our daily BREAD". Evangelicals (and I have to admit lower class catholics) will buy anything if you can relate it to jesus or put angel wings on it.
