^I could've sworn you were in your late thirties. Mind bloan.

I don't know what is stranger...that Patrick isn't in his thirties or that someone's mind is freshly blown by that fact at least once a week in the "things that are..." threads alone

That it's a precondition of employment for anyone who works in a government call centre to have the IQ of a dead yak?:brick:

after being in an airconditioned environment which was nipple chafingly cold... I stepped outside into the 98ºF high humidity and breathed in the soupy dirty NYC air...

it was like being hit in the face with a bag of warm dildos - gay pride celebrations are a coming!

Again? Sorry. :(

yeah, thanks JJ :(

i attend a number of funerals every year. part of being in a close knit community, and the son of a prominent figure.

woman was in her early 60s. i have known her since i was 4. she has basically been bedridden for over 6 years with an odd, debilitating form of alzheimers/paranoia. very sad story.

"Hey son, have you seen mom's marital aid?"

I don't think he'll be bringing friends home again with him anytime soon.

So every year I complain about the same thing... specifically that for me, Summer and Spring are fleeting blink-and-you-miss seasons. They are also my favorite seasons by far. The entire summer for me is basically spent realizing it is coming to an end and as of last night with the solstice... it officially is. Days are getting shorter. Even though it'll be warm until early October in Atlanta, it isn't summer. Not like I ever partake in the activities that make summer summer but, whatever.

Add to the cost of airline tickets... Looking at going to a GSU basketball game in November at BYU. I'd fly in to Salt Lake City, a Delta hub from Delta's main airport, midweek, non-peak season. The only non-stop flight is $1500. Don't think I'll be making the game...
