this has been my experience as well.
My lady friend doesn't seem to have any concept of saving money, or at the very least, the value in not spending $80 on dinner every night.
Not marriage material unless she has a lot of dosh and foot the bill all the time.
This could happen to me and it wouldn't matter, because I haven't done any work today.
A few colleagues of mine make a pot of Folgers every morning and often ask why I don't drink it. If they ask again I'm going to say, "Because that fuckin' swill in your mug is not fit for consumption by anyone or anything."
i have no milk for my cookies
In 2010 I walked through 24" of snow for two blocks to get some Coca-Cola and beer - i just made a huge batch of southern fried chicken and realized there was no coke and beer.
The best part was that my wife being angry at me for not having coke/beer before I started cooking... she expected me to go out during that NYC blizzard of 2010 to get the coke/beer/
Wasn't that literally the day after Christmas? I was at work in my office at 7am.
I hate the way my hair looks today. I should have gone wax.
Yeah, cream polish doesn't do it for me either, but putting reno in my hair before wax makes it come out better.
I was in a rush because sutpid ass Jamie called me at 6 in the morning and kept me on the phone until quarter to 9....
nice you remember... it was two days after when the blizzard settled and everyone was immobile.
I'm pissed off about the weird weather... it's jacket weather one day and rainy... then I go to sleep and its perfect and chilly, only to wake up drenched in sweat because its near 70F and i've got a heavy comforter on me.
tomorrow its supposed to be super muggy and 80ºF... thats swamp ass inducing conditions.
good exercise at least. i bet you you freaking starving by the time you got back.
That winter was horrible. I agree about the weather. I never know what shoes to wear in case of the rain and such. I have been having the same nightime temperature issues as well. I think I might break out the fresco suit tomorrow.
There wasn't anyone at home to sign for it. I have a friend who lives close by so he went and checked and the deliverer had just left the package on the front door. There is no way anyone signed for it but at least it wasn't stolen.
thanks for the update, glad it ended ok.
