The having to stay an hour late to figure out what the hell my assistant manager did to the money. If I didn't have an assistant, my job would be five times easier. I can knock out all my orders for a week in two hours if I time it right, all my cleaning for the week takes two shifts, all the paperwork takes maybe six hours if I'm the one doing it, and receiving a huge order takes me maybe a half hour.

He works forty hours a week, we're transitioning so he's supposed to be doing everything in about a month and a half, I'm basically just there to check shit. My workload has doubled since he took half because he makes such a hash of simple things, like when a supplier ships 300 dollars worth of the exact wrong shit he has them send the right stuff and we get invoiced for 600 instead of calling them and asking for a call tag and a credit slip, then doesn't tell me for five days. or leaves me notes that say things like "P&K, ~600, Tuesday" and can't remember what they were for the next day...

I know he's training, and I know he's trying, but he's really trying my patience.

My dad said something nice to me in an email (well, about me, to someone else, and they forwarded it to me). This really bothers me.

my dad's turning 70 later this year. and we're planning to have a celebration, and my 2 siblings and their husbands living in the opposite side are planning to fly in, all they need to know is what day will the celebration be held so they can book their flights already. and its been almost a week and my mother can't decide which weekend to do it, before or after the day itself. jeesh.

    Starbuck,

You're a bad actor, your character is stupid and melodramatic. The fact that half of the show's subplots revolved around you was annoying and what could have been a very good show was dulled down to mediocrity by your annoying, phony base-trash angle. The tough-girl act was more than forced. They should have never cast you as and Starbuck. The Buck should have been absolutely nothing like this rework. FAIL.

Laura Roslin - was an infinitely more unlikeable/religious nutjob/douchebag of a character.

season 3 onward Laura Roslin single handedly ruined the whole series for me.

If I could turn back time I'd just stop watching after season 2.

It became clear very early on that Olmos carried the series. Mary McDonnell is a good actor, but there are many things about the show that just lingered on like an elevator-fart. Honestly, in that situation I would have totally favored military dictatorship. That's maybe the only situation where such a thing is perfectly sane. The labor strikes were perhaps the most absurd reflection of selfishness and seemed very far fetched. I don't think we're going to sacrifice the human race in the name of Marxism at that point. The moralistic preachyness became nauseating. This is one of those shows that people say "this show would have been great if..."

let it dry and scrap it with a knife or

just move your foot back and forth, while slightly sliding over the tarmac.
