Good Lord! I was thinking about learning how to shave with a blade this weekend. I think I will stick with my electric.

joking aside I've cut myself more and worse with a disposable than I ever have with a straight razor.

I've also never tried to shave with a straight razor after a few beers.

It's funny because I was seriously going to learn to shave with a blade this coming weekend--I just mean a disposable. I don't even know how to do that, as I've only ever shaved with an electric. But I've been a little scared. (Yeah, I know, I don't really know why.) And then I see your picture! Ugh!!

    dude... ketchup.

and buy a merkur or double eagle safety razor on ebay. you can resell them and get most of your money back if you don't like it. get a bar of williams shave soap at duane reed or cvs or whatever and a cheap noname brand brush. mix lather in a coffee mug, shave with the grain, don't push too hard, short strokes. you'll be fine.

Those tequila commercials with Michael Imperioli. I loathe them.

Yeah, I know. But knowing that doesn't help! (I'm a bit squeamish about blood, even if it's obviously not real blood. Hence my aversion to learning to shave with a blade.)

Today the new secretary of one of my direct reports emailed me and PULLED ONE OF THESE TO END HER QUESTION!!

    My reply was:

I appreciate your question. Did you consider ASKING YOUR SUPERVISOR BEFORE YOU BOTHERED ME?!!?

    Best regards,

    Piob

No joke, when I took up the straight I cut my self every day for the first 30 days. On day 31, no blood. I still get a few nicks and weepers here and there but nothing requiring stitches or superglue.

I enjoyed it, but again a lot of the wetshavers were gaga over seeing it. You had to appreciate the hilarity of some of the situations.

Oh, wow. hope she NEVER MAKES THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!

Your biggest problem is that you live in Canberra. And don't give that crap that not all of the ACT is Canberra, yeah it is. Do yourself a favor live in Wog Wog or something and become a New South Welshman.

    Fuck the Brumbies too.

So the house I was looking at is under contract :fu: oh well. There are fewer and fewer houses I can afford where I want to live. :( and every time I've looked at a house and not gotten it, a cold sore has popped up. Sure enough.... this morning guess what I have.

Oh, and its rained a bunch the past few days and I have to umpire today so the field will be a wet, soggy mess. I am not happy about htat.

She looks to be about 35 or so. Fat, teased long hair, skin tight animal print skirt, piggy fingers with acrylic nails. I give her six weeks. WTF were people thinking with this hire?
