ugh, i am procrastinating at work but still not falling behind, which is i guess a good thing except now I can't decide which bulbs I want to buy. and there's a 007 marathon, i love 007 i have it turned on the tv at work but i can't watch it so its even more annoying.

My grandma has been dealing with cancer for 7 or 8 years. It's starting to look like she's at the end of her rope. The chemo treatments are being scheduled farther and farther apart and she just seems tired of the treatments, appointments, etc. She has been very lucky...quality of life has changed little. She still goes kayaking, travels, does whatever she wants. But it's hard because you can tell she is wearing thin. Her memory, energy, etc. are all slowly fading.

She is only 63, which is the worst part. Makes me think a lot about mortality.

My mum died from a Brain tumour Glioblastoma and she was gone in 16 months...

It must be very difficult for you because your granma must have been through periods of remission and hope...

My Mum had a death sentence and it was maybe easier to deal with...

It is still difficult to comfort someone who conforted me all my time ..

I have never forgotten that period of my life.

Fucking christmas music everywhere. Every bar and store I've gone into this morning has been playing shitty fucking christmas music.

Look, Christmas music fucking blows. It's terrible music. By definition it's music you only play during Christmas because it's not good enough to listen to the rest of the year. It's only by associating itself with this stupid holiday that people are able to put out shit music and force everyone to put up with it. Fuck Christmas music, I'm declaring a war on Christmas music. Somebody alert Fox News.

I agree about the christmas music. The only christmas song I've ever been able to stand is "Fairytale of New York".

And I feel the same way about egg nog and "pumpkin spice" flavored crap. Even it was good, people would eat and drink that shit year round.

    +1.

I've been hearing it on the radio and in public places since around the beginning of November. I'm just glad there aren't other seasonal musics, because they'd probably be just as bad.

Normally we have got the Christmas music over here from november...

This year is a bit different due to the current economical crisis...

People do not feel Christmassy at all .

This talk of Christmas music reminds me that I need to download a few selections and create a playlist for my morning run. I don't mind Christmas music between now and Christmas Day.
