I visited my parents this past weekend and my mother was telling me how she wants me to get a colonoscopy. I am 26.

Conversation with a coworker regarding MS Excel:

coworker: "Here's a tip! I just found out if you put a ' in the cell it ignores the formatting."
dcg: "Yes, that is how Excel works."
c: "You knew about that?!? You've gotta remember, I've never done this sort of thing in Excel"
d: "Doesn't your resume say 'Advanced Excel'?"
    c: "No!"
d: *pulls up resume* "Yes it does."
    c: "oh"

I'm always suspicious of people wearing headphones indoors - aside from the gym, of course.

I hate when you sell things on ebay and the people don't pay right away.

There's a pretty easy solution to your problems, guys: clean your own damn house.

What about those of us who neither pay a professional nor do the job themselves?

I love doing laundry at the laundromat - NYC and San Francisco have awesome laundromat scenes. I can actually get a ton of shit finished at the laundromat (finishing up patient notes, planning shit, reading articles that I bookmarked for the week).

my parents visited for the week. they left this afternoon back to san francisco and my wife is away on business for the week. I was supposed to have today until saturday to myself, but then my parents bought me a ticket to fly out tomorrow.

I was actually psyched to have some alone time to rest up - but now I have to fly out to SF and back after 3 days. now i'm going to be jet lagged.

Don't lose your personal patient files in the laundromat...

In England , politicians tend to dump secret files in park waste bins..

the wife does the laundry. suits and stuff go to the dry cleaner. and a cleaning lady comes once a week for a few hours to tidy the house so my wife has less to clean up. she doesnt touch any of the clothing. great system.
