I thought it was the PC word to describe these twats.
I was waiting for you to say you too 20 and lifted the car out.

i could swear it said 44R online and when it arrived today it came as a 44L and now online it just says 44, with no length demarcation at all.
on top of that i stupidly gave my kids my cell phone to play fruit ninja while eating, on my bed. of course there was a spill and now there is rice crispies and milk all over my duvet cover.
No. It stands for white n*****. It is a very unpleasent word. As Joffery pointed out, there are better words to use to convey the same thing.
And a Bracker????
A Black Cracker...
Just found out that I have an analysis paper due in 4 hours . I guess I should crack open that syllabus more than once a semester.
Recent posts have taught me a lot. I must live a sheltered life.
I'm not sure which part you're talking about, but I have never heard the term "Yo-Boy" in my life.
Can someone share some horrible story that occurred to them or their loved ones so we can stop talking about this stupid shit?
Some dumb lady just told me one of her top 5 favorite movies of all times was Mannequin.
That's pretty goddamn terrible, rite????
The company that owns most of the newspapers in the states informed the staffs this week that there's a big overhaul ahead in the coming months. Lots of jobs are gone, including people who were around for the first wave of big cuts back in 2009 where those who didn't take the buyouts had their salaries cut by as much as 50 percent. I've done several internships between two of the papers owned by this company, so I know quite a few people losing their jobs. I was there last year when it was common to have meetings where the main message was, "Hey, we've made it through the storm! We've adapted and you guys are now pioneers of journalism in the state!" Most of the newspapers went from being print dailies to printing three days a week and really upping their online presence. This meant that the reduced staffs were producing as much content as ever (and probably more) because management demanded the online beast be fed constantly throughout the day.
I understand the journalism is pretty much a fucked industry, but from it's shitty for the people who stuck it out, got paid peanuts, were told how well things were going, and then with no real warning, were told that their job was gone. Some of the people are young enough where they'll be fine, but there are a few people in their 40's and 50's who have done nothing but journalism their entire adult lives and will be facing a real hazy future.
The real kicker is that no editors or management are losing their jobs. Between the two papers closest to here, there will be three editors for just four full-time reporters.
Welcome to Uber Liberalism guys the system everyone loves as long as his job is safe..
Atlanta Journal Constitution is combining copy desk with some other department (IIRC it was page layout or something like that) not sure how it will impact jobs yet.
2) Americans. Glad to be home, but fuck Americans.
3) Don't want to travel anymore.
4) Roommates have already turned on central heat, it isn't even fucking cold yet. I can't afford this shit and don't want to pay for it.
Heating on when it is not cold...
Reminds me of my bloody wife in t-shirt telling me she is feeling a bit cold..
Wear a bloody jumper..
it wouldn't be that bad if... they didn't run it all the time. Like, seriously there's a need to heat the house when no one is here or we're all sleeping? really?
