Found a great deal on a quick December mexico cruise getaway, but all my friends are going to the Jay-Z/Kanye concert that conflicts with the cruise. I need a vacation!

Yeah, I run into this issue a lot. My car is sort of a POS, but I figure I can another 3-4 years out of it so why bear the expense.

My only solace is when the wife and I go over the account balances every 3-4 months and you get a nice feeling from the growth.

This is for the best. My mom, who is a wonderful woman, never saved a dime. She was very generous with my brother and me, but she also needlessly spent on stupid shit. She's 63 and despite a full career, her retirement, her monthly disability, and money she makes from odd music jobs, she still has almost nothing in either checking or savings. This is her and it's utterly depressing to see someone of such intelligence in a position where she sometimes does not even have money for groceries.

oof..that's a bummer. You might be already, but don't land in the Friend Zone. Make a move and find out, or get out of there.

man I am pretty sure that I have made it more than clear to hear that I like her, think is that she is 3 years my junior and I am not sure if age is playing a role in this. Thing is I haven't liked a girl like this in a while.

maybe it doesnt help that most of our conversations are taking place via text...

I'm pissed at how when you drive by a school (mostly middle school and high schools) intersection and you have these fucking idiot kids who think they are cool by crossing the street slowly during a green light.

I'm actually totally lenient and will let just about any pedestrian pass (even when jaywalking), but when I see these future darwin award nominees get that emboldened "i'm in the pedestrian lane and I'm sure you won't run me over!" look on their face I kinda want these stupid kids to get run over.

i hate this. every punk ass kid in b more pulls this shit. i remember when i was about 10 and going to school in a carpool. there were these kids, 8 years old at the most who just walked right in front of the car nice and slow. the carpool driver stopped and rolled down the window to tell them off. the little kids cut him off mid sentence and said "fuck you mother fucker" i really thought he was gonna mow them down, those little bastards.

I see this in Indy, and they are adults doing it. They cross as though they have until eternity to make it to the other side of the street. :fu:
