Do you regularly have trouble sleeping? It's just seems strange given that you are pretty young and you exercise regularly?

It's official, I have insomnia. For the last 4 days I have barely been able to sleep.

That sucks man. I might have it for a night, and then the next day I thrash myself and sleep like a baby after.

(btw, when I say 'sleep like a baby' I don't mean I wake up every three hours crying, looking for my paci and want my diaper changed)

I do man. I'm relatively young (26) but the last couple years I've really not been sleeping as well as I used to. I'm a really light sleeper now too, I didn't used to be. I think it's mostly stress about my job and school- I have a very active mind and I'm always making plans and backup plans. It's helped me to be successful but it also keeps me up at night and worries me even though I'm a pretty laidback guy.

Keep a journal. When you dump all the shit out of your head you don't have to worry about it constantly.

You need to learn to compartmentalize. I know it's easier said than done but once you get good at it quality of life goes up considerably. Leave work at the office and not only will your life be better but it will be better for those around you too.

I have to say that trouble sleeping is one things I can offer little help on. Always been a good sleeper, even with my share of anxiety issues.

Thank for the tips guys. I actually know exactly what my insomnia is related to. I recently started taking a medication that has a stimulant in it. Doctor warned me it might effect my sleep. I was on a different type before and it only gave me mild troubles in this area and eventually went away. This has been a lot worse. I'm waking up every night at around 3pm for a while. Sometimes dosing off, then waking up again. Even tried some sleeping pills that have only helped a little. I have hope that this will go away eventually like it did before. If not, I need to discuss it with my doctor.

Been a royal pain in the ass. :fu:

Been down that road before. I always love the "well, its the lesser of two evil's" speech.
