1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

You did understand that I don't actually participate in the sport of race walking, rather I walk faster than everyone else on the street in NYC and constantly cut people off...?

Japan won fair and square (even though I've always thought that winning a match based on penalties is the worse way to win).

Jon, you self-identified as a race-walker. If you're not a race-walker, then you simply walk quickly. And, evidently, rudely.

That said, race-walkers have a reputation for being high-strung and dwelling on minutiae, so I think you could probably understand where I might observe how 2 + 2 = 4 in this case.

How is it evident that it is rude?

Because you said you cut people off, something that is generally considered rude.

No one gets past you, Mr. Race-Walker. Our of curiosity (but I think I know the answer already), do you use your arms to pry groups apart when they're blocking your progress? What about someone trying to pass - do they get a visit from Jon's Elbow?

The more I visualize this, I totally see you swinging your elbows like Ewing bringing down the rebound, as you mince forward unrelentingly - a grim little bundle of clenched-butt-cheek fury.

No, of course not, is that what you do when you try to go around people?!?

Your minds eye, I think its dirty, you should clean it.

I'm not the grim race-walker here, Jon. I'm not the one boasting here that no one, I mean nobody passes Jon.

I, OTOH, am a well-adjusted and even pleasant person... when not behind the keyboard.

So behind the keyboard you are allowed to be a different person but I am the exact same person behind the keyboard as I am in real life simply because I like to walk fast? Your logic is certainly... interesting.

Registering for classes online is always such a cluster fuck. Everyone goes online at the same time and bogs down the system. A five minute process has taken me over an hour and a half.
