the following 3 things are contributing to my less than stellar mood

1. the sopranos and SF are both major contributing factors to my getting less than 4 hours of sleep last night

2. for the 3rd time in a row my favorite wings have wrecked my stomach

3. its a beautiful day and im stuck at work

Ok, well this bee turned out to be one of the millions that have set up a home in the walls in a corner of my house, and have recently started escaping through a crack in the window sill. This is going to be expensive.

I did indeed. It was the subject of much conversation before we tied the knot so I thought we were on the same page. Over the next couple of years, however, I guess she has changed her mind. She has always been very career focused and feels that they wouldn't be able to meet the standards she would hold herself to as a career woman and a mother.

Good for her. Hey, at least she was honest with you. Give it a go for a few more years. If nothing changes by then, say your goodbyes and find someone who aligns with what you're looking for.

I'm allergic so no, I will not be taking the bees on myself.

I've been doing some research and it sounds like I'm going to have to break down part of the wall to get the honeycomb out. The joys of home ownership

I've always been supportive of my wife's emphasis on her career and I still am. You are definitely right in that it was good that she was honest with me. I would hate HAte HATE to me in a situation where we have the kid, she resents kid for ruining her career, and in the long run nobody is happy. We agreed that we're just not going to talk about kids until she wants to bring it up because she has changed her mind. If she doesn't bring it up, that's fine, until the time when it isn't fine. I have no idea when that point is, but I'm not going to worry about it for awhile. BTW, Rambo, I'm really pulling for you in that I hope you don't wind up at Karaoke for one tonight.

You're handling this well man. I'd say give it 6 months and then check back in. Either that, or whenever she passes another career milestone (transfer, raise, promotion, etc..) Just remember that you don't have to give up on what you want if your partner changes what they want. Also, ha! There are still several hours for my plans to cancel on me. Honestly, the way things have been going, I'm not holding out hope.

Well I'll keep hope alive.
