    fuck, that's horrible. good luck
+1. I wish her luck in finding a new job.
I just signed up a client who is accused of assault with a deadly weapon because he tried to back his car up to prevent a woman who rear ended him from leaving the scene of the accident. Dumb thing to do and I'm sure there's more to the story but from what I can tell he didn't even touch her. Fucking cops.
    That's completely asinine.

    I can't imagine working past 5. [IMG]
9:50pm and I am still here. Went out and had a beer, cracked jokes with some co-workers, surfed the web...yet I am still physically at work. [IMG]

I've never worked past 6pm and for the past 3 years I've always had weekends off.

I'm sorry to hear that Conne. From now on I won't take leaving from work early, PTO, and free weekends for granted. Thank you.

My wife just got laid off today after 12 years with the same company. She happens to be very, very good at her job and her accounts love and respect her. She feels terrible and the only reason I can imagine the owner of the company would let her go is because of money. She is the highest paid person at her position. We work in the same industry and knowing what she handles and what the people who work for me handle, she's worth every penny and then some. The worst part is after all my job trouble over the past couple of years we were finally in a position where we were starting to make up ground again. Now, who knows.

    Sorry to hear this, T.

You should quit already. No one needs this kind of abuse. [IMG]

whose idea was it to give Bill Simmons, America's man in most need of an editor, editor-in-chief responsibilities at some self-important new media venture? The writing there is atrocious - it's a horrific gonzo trainwreck gone over a cliff. ugh. what awful, awful shit.
