    I've bought fewer clothes post-SF. It's inspired me to be more considerate about my choices.

    shoes: Alden, C&J
    ties: Rubinacci, Marinella, Holliday & Brown, etc
    socks: Marcoliani, Falke
    shirts: Bespoke

    Prior to SF I had many a pair of AE and J&M dress shoes but no dress boots or English shoes.
    I am now three pair of dress boots and two pair English shoes heavier post Styleforum.

    I hope the fever subsides soon....

    For some context, just graduated from college and start work in September. Never even know AE shoes existed, have the Mora and waiting on my Weybridge from the Nordstrom Sale to be delivered. Also have a pair of tramezzas and peals. From streetwear bought a ridiculously expensive pair of selvage nudies which fit great but I sort of regret. Gave up my infatuation with Boss merchandise, found countless websites for bargains. The one fault I can come up with is that I've put too high a premium on finding amazing deals at the expense of just buying what I like and not expesning so much time (=money) on saving money.

    Shameless plug, someone respond to my thread!

    Buying: If brand awareness counts, then RM Williams, otherwise n/a.

    Wearing: pocket squares

    Shirts in colors other than black, white, and blue
    Started getting shirts tailored to fit.

    Brandnames - I always studiously avoided them before coming here.
    More sober colors - I have to fight myself not to by only colorful stuff so that I have enough bases for my wardrobe.

    Slim/Tailored Shirts
    Better Ties
    Ventured outside solid blue and blue pinstripe suits (got crazy and did a few charcoal and even a medium grey)

    I also pay more attention to the shine on my shoes and have increased by manscaping below the neck (used to just do the carrot and kiwis, now I've raised the bar).

    My ass crack is happy I found SF.

    two biggest things - stopped wearing "whimsical" ties, started wearing 7 fold ties almost exclusivley. I am seriously considering the issue of purpose made pocket squares, but haven't yet commited.

    another issue is that I am leaning towards using more expensive tailors and shirtmakers. I actually haven't bought any suits since I started here, but I am not sure that when I get around to buying more suits that I won't go to a better grade of tailor.

    My tie game is extremely weak, but SF has introduced me to many great styles I will eventually pick up
    I am still partial to wearing denim with a dressier shoe. I can't get away from wearing sneakers.

    Nearly eliminated black from my wardrobe, but more importantly learned about mens fashion as a whole. The history, the makers, regional specialties, quality from crap, fact from hype. Also learned about brands that I never heard of before. Corneliani, Borrelli, Kiton, Lobb, Berluti, etc.

    * Learned about proper fit

    * Margtegani, Vass, EG - heck shoes that cost > $200. When I first started lurking I was astounded when I'd read posts about shoes on sales for $1k. I simply couldn't imagine how someone could spend 4-5k on just a few pairs. Now $500 for shoes sounds almost cheap.

    *Seven fold ties, then double 4 folds

    * Patina on Briefcases, shoes, or just about any quality garment is a good thing

    * Bespoke Clothing

    * Buying clothes on Ebay and B&S. That was unthinkable for me two years ago.

    * STP, VCH, STF websites.

    * Ralph Lauren Blue/Purple label. I honestly thought all Polo was of the same ilk from the awful 80's popped collar shirts.

    * That some people can actual wear pumpkin coloured pants and still look good.

    Quality, properly fitted garments and shoes all purchased at least 50% off. Knowledge is power. Highlights include 2 Battistoni suits (50 off and just 2 sweet to pass up) and a Brioni raincoat marked down close to 90% compliments of Barney's and Corthay's at 70% off thanks to Bergdorf.
