This week's music spam is for Thin Lizzy. I got their discography after becoming obsessed with "Cowboy Song":

but as it turns out, their early stuff is just unreal, and I'd never heard any of it. And since I love finding new music to love, I wanted to bring it to you all.

Imagine if Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie had a black Irish kid who turned badass years old in 1968 or so. That's what you get. It's really amazing and I hope people stop missing out on this stuff. You can go through their catalog and pick out influences (from and especially to others) left right and center... and speaking of that you can just sit and marvel at the production and weird/awesome decisions made.

Please note: I'm not any kind of music reviewer-guy, so I'm probably describing this all wrong. But anyway, if you like any of the music that came out from '68 to 80 or so, you should definitely check them out.

Philip Lynott was a genius. Even after changing my musical taste over and over throughout the years I remain a die hard fan. Live & Dangerous would definitely be part of my Top 3 albums list.

Was fortunate enough to see Lizzy with Phil in Chicago at a big outdoor festival. They were amazing.
