Got my suit today, thanks Jason. These are preliminary pics....still need to get the suit pressed.

Black 1 button, notch lapels, patch pockets, house cut.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey Jason. I'm thinking about getting a lightweight suit for summer and trips to warmer parts of the world. Can you do an unlined (quarter lined) suit jacket?

Looks great Braidkid! Slim fitting with just the right amount of waist suppression and the sleeve length looks spot-on. I'd probably like a little less break on the trousers.

Is the jacket unvented? Can't tell from my crappy monitor.

I'm pretty sure they're all double vented. Nice suit braidkid...a little less break on the pants will really clean up the silhouette. Also, you just couldn't wait to try that suit on!! The USPS is still sitting on the floor! [IMG]

^ yea, i was pretty excited when I got it, hence the USPS box on the floor.

I will shorten the trousers a bit, get the entire thing pressed and post better pictures later. The suit is double vented.

And yes, I am exaggerating about the jacket sleeves, before anyone gets their stiltskin all rumpled by my comment.

his shirt sleeves are just about the right length but his jacket sleeves are 2" too short...

You look very off balanced. There's probably not enough fabrics at upper front of the jacket, causing jacket shoulders falling off your natural shoulder and jacket collar gaping away from shirt collar (even when you didn't button up the shirt collar). Combined with the short jacket skirt you look very top heavy.

That's sort of what I was thinking. The top half looks off, almost like I'm heavier than I really am. Could be the camera angle.

Definitely camera angle. Try putting it on a lower table.

I'm about to order the black tone-on-tone single button suit as well as a dark brown tweed sports coat. I love the look of Jason's work - looks like my dream suit and in a descent fabric. Bloody brilliant. I'm dead excited!

Camera angle won't cause your jacket chest splitting open and jacket shoulder falling off. Are you standing in the posture you took your measurements in?

AFAIK more erect posture (chests forward shoulders back) could be the cause for a reverse teardrop lapel, misaligned shoulders and closed quarters.

New mid-grey flannel suit, conservative cut, some tweaks to the measurements:

The trousers are caught on the shoes. They do have a bit of break though, which is how I like them. Fit seems perfect to me in the shoulders now.

Overall, I'm really liking it. The new striped lining is pretty cool too.

Patch pockets on a black one-button- very nice choice. Looks great.

I don't think they're patch pockets, just flapped.
