"On the run for 17 years, the accused Boston crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger and his longtime girlfriend were finally caught in California by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday.

They were arrested without incident at a residence in Santa Monica, the FBI said in a statement, just days after the agency renewed its public campaign to capture Bulger and his 60-year-old girlfriend Catherine Greig."

The embodiment of all negative human characteristics; here's hoping that he lives a long long time in prison.

Shows how much the power of organized crime has decline in America; particularly the Italians Mafia's. The Mafia of yore certainly would have found and killed him long ago.

Wow, that was fast. I think I read about the FBI's new PR campaign only a day or two ago.

Just saw a good Whitey story on Twitter. A liquor store he owned sold a $14M lotto ticket; Whitey "partnered" with the winner. [IMG]

As I was reading today, didn't realize it was Mitt Romney that made Billie's life difficult and had him outed of the University leadership position he held. "Bulger’s Arrest Recalls Romney’s Finest Hour" http://www.commentarymagazine.com/20...arrest-romney/

    ^^^^^^

Good to know. Romney should get credit for raking the Massachusetts muck.
