I think the clue is in the puff about the shoes made in Northampton. Loake are based in the area. They often produce footwear for other firms - e.g. Herring. I wouldn't be surprised if CT had a similar arrangement with them.

They look like Loake's to me. The heel pattern looks identical to the old style 1880 heel before they changed to a C shape rubber insert.

Sorry, I didn't include the other part of my post. Loake, as far as I know, run one of the biggest 'franchise' operations, so I would have thought that there's a good chance it's them.
