I'll be fairly realistic.

In the next year:
- Buy first house
- Telephoto zoom lens for the DSLR
- Parts for new computer build (Core 2 Quad setup)
- Plane ticket to Spain

In the next 5 years:
- Buy vacation condo
- Wide angle zoom lens for the DSLR
- AlienBees Strobes for the DSLR
- New car, perhaps Lexus IS, Audi A5, or others.
- Apple laptop

Far future:
- Buy warehouse to convert to condos
- Porsche Cayman
- Project car to fix

Especially since I haven't spent any money on non-necessities in over two months. I feel better already, and they aren't even here yet!

Yes, they did address it quickly and the firmware update was good, but using a screw on filter to address the UV/IR problems is inexcusable on a camera at this price level. I hope the 2nd gen. will have solved this.

Maybe so, at least in the consumer electronic goods. Leica has been struggling mightily with the advent of the digital age.

1. Santoni FAM/Bentivenga Construction Cap toe brouges.
2. 1997 Ferrari F355.
3. A home in Pebble Beach.

I know the last two are quite unrealstic...

However, it is a wish list.

Realstic

Indeed, they have had a lot of delivery problems of the Modul-R digital back due to production problems, due mostly to electronics.

But, in general the Germans just cannot produce well-made coupled with long lasting and problem-free electronics. Hell, the head unit on my A4 broke and they had to replace the whole thing (under warranty, of course) and my car is only 1 ½ years old!

1. A sub-3:30 marathon in January. (possible, but not easy)
2. A new job, out of finance and back into operations
3. A buyer for our house, preferably paying full price.

I'll stop there. If those three happen, I'm happy.

tyto,

west l.a. is a specific neighborhood between santa monica and the 405. i think you are referring to the westside, though los feliz is certainly not on the westside, even though it's west of downtown.

RJMan reminded me that as long as I'm wishing, I should add:

Full set of Globetrotter Centenary or Orient luggage (hell, even just the attache).

They are simply so beautiful.
