1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I actually think Paris would be pretty fun to party with. I definitely would not want to go any further than that, however.

While I would never argue against Sennheisers, have you tried a decent IEM? I have these: Westone UM2 and they rock. I don't know what kind of power the Sansa pushes but the IEMs sound great with the smaller amps in most portables... another plus is they block out the idiots around you.

I hate to break it to you man, but everything but the $10 ER20 EARPLUGS are out of my budget.

Is this thread about things that are in the realm of possibility of acquiring, or about things we want but have no hope of acquiring?

You guys are dreamers. I live the life of a peasant so my "wish list" consists of things that I actually hope to have or achieve within the next year:

    - to not get stabbed or shot during my residence in Richmond
    - to actually be able to live comfortably in Boston next year
    - Vitsoe 606 Universal Shelving System
    - Leica M8
    - first edition of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

    This is all...for now!!!!1

Interesting that the Leica M8 is a recurring Wish List item.

[IMG] I REALLY want a pair of Airwalk Vic's. Preferrably in blue. I had a pair of low tops, black with white rubber toecap, which I can not find a picture of ANYWHERE which leads me to believe that maybe they were super rare or something. (but I don't want to pay 77Euro plus shipping to get them.)

    UPDATE!:

the configuration I've been thinking about recently is a 4 or 6Gb, SR 60's (or a sealed can Sennheiser HD205 for $20 less) and the micro SD card

Got an unexpected quarterly bonus check today, nothing extraordinary, but $200. I have caught up with my bills, and am on schedule to be ahead, so I pulled the trigger on the 6GB Sansa and Grado SR 60's

    Oh, and the best part?

I cashed in a coupon and paid $40 less than retail. Woot!
