What's the leather? Some kind of scotchgrain? Looks more like Russia calf. Beautiful in any case.

I fell in love with the Wigmore from online photos, but when I tried the Wigmore on last year when I was in Copenhagen - they turned out to be somewhat narrow and perhaps even a little too exaggerated looking in my larger size (UK9). This IMO is a shoe that looks good in smaller sizes, but does not 'scale' well. I understand that you have another shoe on the 360 last, so if the fit is good for you, I can reassure you the colour is great in real life.

For everyone who is wondering about the background of this post, under the banner of 'operation paprika', fritzl sells poorly finished shoes by a now-retired Hungarian 'master shoemaker' who cannot get broguing straight on a shoe, let alone punch the brogue holes properly or align the lacing flaps on a blucher properly. Apparently, these 'quirks' are now part of the 'charm' of shoes that cost just shy of half a grand. Which is epic

material. So, in care I wasn't crystal enough earlier - I'll take cheaper decently machine-made shoes over your more expensive poorly handmade shoes any day.

Thanks for the input. As it turns out, the 360 was quite narrow on me. I had to get my Cranford's stretched to a comfortable width. I'd definitely like to avoid this with future purchases, but the Wigmore IS pretty. With that in mind I'd be open to a similar (but more comfortable alternative).

A pair of black Dufferins made by Cheney for Dacks, recently purchased from their bankruptcy liquidation.

Keep in mind that a wingtip will stretch a LOT less than a derby or chukka due to the double layer of leather on the upper. Consider the Finsbury on 341 - a slightly less elongated, slightly more rounded toe and definitely more classic interpretation of a wingtip than the 360 IMO.
