Congrats pepper, that's awesome. Sounds like the Peter 2 in H width is wide but doesn't have a high instep then?

I have a pair of Alden Indy 405 that I'd like to trade for something else. They are the 'Original Indy' (Calfskin, cork sole) on the TrueBalance last in 10.5EEE. They haven't been worn much and are in great condition!

I would say that it doesn't run super wide, as the H width is about perfect for my feet in the ball. Feels like it runs a little narrower than Alden Barrie, about the same as the AE 1 last. Maybe a smidge wider. Also, I would characterize the instep as medium to low. The laces close all the way (blucher style lacing), but there isn't any space underneath.

The overall shape is just so well-thought out. Every part of the shoe is comfortable at every point in my gait, and there doesn't seem to be any excess room for unnatural creasing.

Whoah PM me. Got any pics? I've got a lot of Unique AEs in odd make ups, if you'd be interested. What are you looking for?

Would anyone be interested in an all EEE Rain last Carmina GMTO? I'm not even sure what shoe, but if we could find 6 folks it'd be nice. I've heard Carmina is considering but not accepting yet multiple widths on GMTO. But if they are all EEE, maybe that'd work for the wide footed fellas. Any thoughts?

For GMTOs through Carminas web store directly and also through Gentleman's footwear, shoes in Rain, Detroit, Firest, and Uetam can be ordered in nonstandard widths already. Most likely, Skoak will be able to do this too, going forward, they just have to check once the factory opens again.

Perfect. Thanks! Though I still think an all EEE GMTO would be kinda cool.

I could be interested if we are talking about something like a Snuff chukka.

Not super wide, but Ben Silver has several models of handgrade C&Js in US E width on clearance right now. Sizes are obviously limited:

http://www.bensilver.com/The-Whitehall-Cap-Toe-E-width,13027.html
http://www.bensilver.com/The-Belgrave-Cap-Toe-Oxford-in-Chestnut-E-width,12378.html

Westminster and Belgrave are both US 8E, if anyone lucks out and wears that size.

Increasingly I find myself relieved when my size isnt available on these PSA's, haha.
