Nice, missed this. Will shoot him a PM as well.

I ordered a pair of MTO Vass from No Man Walks Alone on the F last in a wide. Their "normal" wide is still a bit snug for me, so looking to see what else I can do. Gorgeous shoes though.

If when you say normal wide you mean one width up (Vass G width), they also have H width in most lasts including the F last.

Believe it was the G--will need to double check. Hoping so, because looking to order another pair soon if I can get it wider.

Since when does Vass have H widths?
I was at their main store in Budapest 9 years ago
and they had nothing wide enough for me.
Does anyone carry these in the US?

I doubt they stock them as standard in their shop - not many makers keep extra wide or extra narrow around. But Vass definitely make them to order.

I floated this a while back, but everyone here was in Vass world. Any of my fellow 3E's up for a Carmina GMTO? I'm pretty open to styles and leathers, just as long as it isn't a bal. Monk or chukka would be particularly nice!

Any takers (and by any I mean five)?

How much would it run? I would possibly be in for a monk or a chukka

Btw, I've been looking for something in cordovan with some broguing. Anything between an AE strand and a longwing derby would be cool, any color but black. I wear an 11.5 EEE (H) or 12 E (G).

After all this time, how in the world did I miss this one. for years I have been wearing 8.5 or 9 in 4eeee or 5eeeee depending on the last.
Been ordering from www.wideshoes.com. They go from 3eee up to 6eeeeee.

    Hi all,
Can someone help me with sizing please. I have flat but wide feet and my toes are Roman aligned (see pic). I am having sizing issues and was wondering if you guys would consider helping me. I ordered a pair of P2 alt-wein in 41.5 that turned out to be too long for me. Next, we tried a 41G, which fits me perfectly length-wise but the width was a problem for my left feet. The shoes cramp my pinkie and 4th toe, but only when I stand or walk.

I am looking for advice to proceed further. Should I try a last with a wider toe-box like the R or a last that is more symmetric like the P2 but with more width than G? I hope to hear what you have to say in this matter.

    regards,

are you sure the 41.5 was too long? if you have wide flat feet, it's very likely that your foot length is shorter compared to your heel to ball. i.e., with such feet, you might have excess toe box room if you size correctly for heel-to-ball length. The alternative is to choose a different last of course

@sleepyinsanfran , Thanks for writing. I am certain that the 41.5 was too long. You are correct. However, I do not like having excess room in the toe-box so I am considering a different last.

    Brannock: 6.5 EE

    AE 5-Last: 6.5EE

    Loake 026 Last: 6G

    Sanders Stet Last: 6G

Have J.crew AS in 6.5 UK as well but I would not really consider it a great fitting.
