Today's shoes: beat-to-hell sambas for school and Hermes loafers for errands.

Really in need of a nicer pair of black leather sneakers......

I've been pleasantly surprised. I wore them from 7:00am - 8:00pm on Sunday and quite enjoyed it. They take a little work to break in (very stiff leather), but once that's done I have to say they're as comfortable as any shoe I've ever worn (except my ASICS Gel-Nimbus joggers and Ugg slippers). They're great.

I've been trying to find a good, online, U.S. based shoe store that carries new sneakers and collabs. The best example of what I'm looking for that I have found so far would be "Crooked Tongues" but they aren't located in the U.S.

I dig this idea, but have little pics to help at the moment, but I'll add one I do have. Grenson Haydon perforated cap toes in tan calf:

Behold, the shoes I wore today. I have a vague hope that these will eventually start falling apart so I can justify getting the MIE version. No luck so far.

^ I'm intrigued. Looking forward to the pics. How was your experience with Tricker's, presuming you went to Jermyn Street for a fitting?
