@MGoCrimson

Thank you very much for your feedback, and I can certainly see your point. To offer some explanation (and, I hope, not to deflect), the coat is mid weight waxed cotton and lighter than I think it appears in the photo. Despite the snow accumulation, the temperature had actually jumped to almost 50F.

With that said, I can understand your criticism. Is there anything you would suggest to soften the incongruity? I’m thinking maybe a mid layer jacket and/or swapping the cotton trousers for wool ones.

I admit I didn’t zoom in to see the thin outer shell of the duffel but waxed cotton is, to me, an odd design choice for a traditional coat historically constructed of thick weatherproof wool or at times a hefty cotton. To be honest I don’t know what to do with that. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Yes, I have found it somewhat difficult to work into outfits for that reason (all of my duffel inspo uses thick wool coats) but I like the piece a lot and will keep trying to make it work well. Thank you again for the feedback!

Man you’re killing it lately @RegisDB9 this is so great!

It’s a bit like brunello cucinelli but super slick

Thanks bro! I’ve been on tan/brown/taupe kick lately

Current status: log on to SF, go to SWD WAYWT, 'like' Regis fit, log off, look at -20ºC reading on the outside thermometer, put on another old sweater...

I can’t even compute negative numbers as far as temperature goes man :eek:. I wear turtle necks and jackets in 68 degree weather.....now today it’s 82 degrees...ahhh Florida

68 degrees is t-shirt and light jacket for the evening weather. how do you not sweat to death in a turtleneck?!

I’m pretty much freezing at 68 haha. I guess it just a lifetime of being in humid 98 degree weather and finding it really nice. What I’m saying is, I’m pretty much like the Jamaican bobsled team in Cool Runnings

I pined over these Trickers for months and now that I have them I feel a solid meh. I thought they were gonna be a bit lighter in tone. I dunno perhaps I’m being a bit picky and grumpy on account of being stuck in the house the last two weeks on account of a URTI that’s morphed into pneumonia...
