Private, almost definitely. I'm involved in a lot of glaucoma-related projects and research, so I'm planning to do an ocular disease residency and then look for work at a hospital or MD/OD practice like the one I used to tech for.

I have no intention of staying in NYC to work (the state's laws are among the most restrictive in the U.S. w/r/t scope of practice), but I'll hook you up with an SF discount wherever I end up as long as you're willing to travel
