Loving my paradise jacket, it's exciting to slowly rebuild my wardrobe with special things I feel a connection to.

The jacket also felt like a great piece for celebrating a NY that's slowly coming back to the social jam packed city I fell in love with.

@KamoteJoe Thanks me too, I jumped right on it and now everywhere is out of my size so I'm glad I just went for it. I usually only buy 1 or 2 full priced garments a year.

I've wanted the green silk workwear jacket for a long while, it captures the Craig Green vibe so well while also being super flexible and wearable.

Still wish I had figured out how to make that samurai warrior jacket work but it just always looked better on a hanger than in any outfit I could pull off. I think the navy with black piping was the most visually intense colorway, I probably could have made the white or electric blue work better.

I still really want to find the tie closure denim work jacket.

Maybe. It might be that that particular inseam length just needs a bit wider pant (for that kind of exagerrated short-ish inseam look you see a lot of guys in Japan do), whereas 1" longer inseam would suit that fit best. One solution is to rip open the hems, thereby elongating the inseam and having a raw hem, which is all the rage amongst 14-16 year old girls and menswear bloggers, apparently.

The overall fit looks simple and good to me.

it’s a nice day and I felt like wearing loafers. also, 5” shorts because it’s now gam season.

@#dadcore fits got a million times better and less stiff when he started sizing up just one size, wearing straight instead of slim pants. And by no means is he wearing wide stuff. I suspect the same would be true for many of your fits.

Look at '50s pictures of dudes wearing essentially what you're wearing here, and I think you'll see the difference. Or look at the later lookbooks Antonio did for Eidos. By no means baggy, like with 18 East, but that perfect balance for the types of fits he was doing—everything looked so natural and easy. You just need an inch (literally) more cloth all around

Or abandon this direction and go for a truly slim look, with pieces that suit the many vibes you can do that way (Drake's is a great example). But taking outdoors-y clothes, slightly remixed workwear, Mediterranean vacation vibes, etc., and making it all slim just ends up making everything stiff, as a general rule, to which there are undoubtedly exceptions.

TL;DR: you look like someone around 6' who is wearing TTS Ms when you should be wearing oversized Ms and TTS Ls for the styles you're going for.
