I don't know if you're looking for feedback but if I were you I would try some pants with less taper. Or just wider all around. Imho the slim tapered stuff makes you look unnecessarily top heavy.

I feel that. I was confronting the tucked/untucked binary and ended up tucked, which is not something I ever do. I did think SF would approve but also augured the jeans being seen as too slim.
