this in theory should be a great fit, but because everything looks brand new it doesn't hit the right notes. if any one item, the boots/jeans/jacket, had an appreciable amount of wear on it, this fit would look really great

I agree! Working hard on it. Jeans are actually not that new, but been wearing this jacket and jeans and boots nonstop.

I guess the problem with everything being well made ha.

i totally agree - that whole aesthetic requires items that can withstand a lot of wear before they start to show it. i had a jacket like that, ripvanwinkle horse leather, and i just couldn't bring myself to wear it enough to break it in, as it probably would have taken years to look good. sold it to my little brother, who looks way better in it since hes a few inches taller.
