They're not too wide *in general* but they are too wide with what you're wearing with them. Wide pants can look good with non-wide tops if the tops are super snug, like tight on the body - there was one person on SuFu that used to do that kind of thing with Lang that always worked really well. If you're not gonna go that route, they'll work well if you pair them with a similarly proportioned top. I'd love to be proven wrong but I don't know if I've ever seen an example of wide bottom + slim (but not tight) top or wide top + slim (but not skinny) bottom look good.

I like the pants @nicelynice, and they aren't that big compared to some of the things I've seen being worn around Tokyo recently, but as others have said - not with the rest of what you're wearing.

Are you about to do another 90º turn on your wardrobe? You had this capsule thing down - Resolute jeans, boots, leathers - and now you're buying wide jeans and talking about Hokas...
