It's a running joke. The GM of my company will give me shit from time to time for dressing too casually - often times invoking some "rule" about how I should be dressing instead. One involved collared shirts (which I pretty much wear M-Th now, with the occasional knit mixed in). Meanwhile... company shirts and square toed Rockports or whatever.

    Looks good, cool photo!

Maybe it's just me but I love it when people tuck in their shirts w/ casual fits.

Yeah seriously. @kgfan5 , @mumma , @Ariiam 's recent fits would all be perfect for this. And @agvs ' fit with the EG suit and ripple-sole boots from a couple days ago would get my vote to win that challenge.

@Synthese What are you seeing that I am not (or what am I seeing that you are not)?

@Abraxis I think the materials are nice but the cut of all of that stuff isn't doing you any favors. In general, I'd say that outfit needs more structure.

I like the texture of the shirt but it needs more structure in the shoulders and it looks like it may be too big in general. Some tailoring would help. The way it's falling off the shoulders makes it look frumpy and shapeless, suggesting potato body underneath. The collar is splayed too wide and looks like it might be tight when buttoned. And it's too long when untucked and it doesn't look good cut straight across... it accentuates the width of your hips.

The jacket draws attention to the width of your upper body by having the double breast and all the material in front and the way it curves upward in the middle at the bottom edge makes it look like it's being pulled upward by your chest and stomach in an unflattering way. And its shoulders need to be more structured. And the position and angle of the pockets and the way it pulls on your shoulders gives the whole thing a sack-like drape.

The pants could benefit from more of a taper from the knee down. They also may just need to be broken in more.

The shoes could benefit from a chunkier sole and a sturdier toe box.

Just my .02 of course and not trying to be negative but I figure if somebody takes the effort to post an outfit for feedback and I offer my thoughts, I should be honest.

Thanks for the feedback. No worries on negativity front at all! But both the jacket and the shirt are meant to be a bit on the oversized and shapeless side. I recognize that may not suit my body, but ahwell. I can try the fit with different pants and footwear at some point to see if with a different balance might help the top half.

@Mr. Moo yes I know my mirror is dirty. I just moved last week. My room is super dirty too. There are piles of 2k boots all over the place.
