Yeah, I want to see that Abraxis fit with some low-rise footwear. Maybe slipons or derbies or something, complete with no-show socks. It'll jive better with the flowiness of everything else.

That said, I really dig the way the pants and that grey poncho thing play together. Not so sure about the tee alone. The proportions are almost too exaggerated- super long tee meets super short trousers.

On the other hand, the spoilered side-view pic makes me reconsider my view on the hi-tops. I don't know why they look better from the side than from the front. Maybe it's time to walk sideways whenever you're wearing dunks so onlookers only see your profile?????

To my eyes, the split seams really help balance the proportions which is why the side view looks nicer (even though I know your comment was aimed at the shoes). I also agree on not liking the tee alone, it's too tubular for my tastes.

JJvE just seems like a brand that will only work for stick thin fashion build types to me. Shape's cool but v unflattering for larger builds..

I think that Abraxis fit looks fine, just an awkward pose - try "casual hands in the pocket" thing rather than "hose monk meditation" and it'll look a lot more approachable. The side shots look pretty decent

St. Patrick's Day doesn't suck...You suck!

What's STP like in the Bay area? I'll say that I've lived in two large cities in the Midwest that have great STP festivities and it's always one of the highlights of my year.

As for the fit...it too sucks! j/k, you've been on a great roll lately CWI. Keep the hits coming.

I saw at least 5 middle aged people being arrested walking from the parking structure to my first stop for errands. This was around 11:20AM. Then a huge parade that blocks off one of the biggest streets for the entire day. Took me 1 hour to drive 6 miles to the next place I had to go to.

Well you, sir, picked the wrong day to do errands. In all seriousness, the nice thing about STP is that most of the real shenanigans are over by 3:00 (mostly because people start at 7:00).

Absolutely phenomenal weather in the city today. Took almost 2 hours to get to the Ferry Building tho :uhoh:

Oh man, if I'd taken that job I'd be working in the same building as Moo. Mind blown.

EDIT: Never mind, was thinking of Market Square, not Ferry. Duh.

I love you nn, and the individual peices fit great, but looks so weird together. Like some wizard from harry potter trying to pass as a muggle.

I think one issue I see a lot is that JJvE is oversized, but doesn't elongate the silhouette - it's often really widely cut and then becomes kinda boxy and shapeless in a way that's unflattering. Like everything needs the sides taken in a few inches and it'd look a lot better. I love a lot of the designs, but (with the exception of Ivwri's kimono cardigan) I have not yet seen a piece worn where I actually thought it looked decent.
