@mike868y , who's the jacket by?
jeans + tucked in button up shirt = no go (generally speaking)
shirt buttons + cardigan buttons = too many buttons
taking the time to tuck in your shirt, then pull the shirt through the cardigan, etc it makes the whole thing look too contrived, too much effort. A tshirt, thrown on cardigan and dirty jeans, no belt and broken in boots, that says I'm well put together naturally, instead of I had to rework this 'outfit' several times to get it just right.
off to the pool...
The F? I never thought of the first comment. I always wear cardigans in winter son.
Read your comment 4 times and still don't understand what you're saying. I never said anything issues with cardigans and winter.
I'm drunk. Shirt buttom + cardigan buttons = Too many buttons. I don't understand, For work, I always wear a dress shirt under a cardigan. Are you saying that is too many buttons?
Drunk? dude it's 4pm
anyway, look it's a general idea. I used to wear polos (2-3 buttons) with button up cardigans and realized it's visually distracting. My point to the guy there is having a bunch of buttons running up/down both your cardi and your shirt can sometimes get a little 'messy' when you look back and forth between them. The lines are hard to follow which makes the look harder to 'read'. My suggestion is to either button up the cardigan, or wear it open with a tshirt instead or something. It's a generalization, you can do whatever you want
Calm down. I don't even drink. I get what you're saying.
To be fair, 4 pm on a Saturday is an excellent time to get drunk.
I actually really like the button adds more interest/texture, and I specifically had this shirt with black buttons for that purpose. I kinda like this outfit in general
I wear jeans with blazers and tweed jackets all the time so I'm used to tucking always. I guess I'm still branching out from that approach also slowly. Untucked shirts just look sloppy to me unless it's linen or flannel, it heavily patterned, and I feel like it looks just fine tucked with jeans meh.
unis. currently on sale for a lot less than i paid. http://unisnewyork.com/collections/mens-jackets/products/suede-bomber-jacket-rust
I'd lose the cardigan... Or at least get a nicer one. Long cardis can be cool but this definitely doesn't fall into that category. Swd cardi look also usually doesn't involve a button up shirt unless SvB.
Spoiler: Watch shot
Cashier at coffee shop recognized the kilgore. Guy at the furniture store was in all SLP (Teddy + knee rip jeans + studded black Wyatt harness boots) with a JE hoodie. Is this real life?
I need to get a tripod.
