    Why's that? Here's why I chose it--I like how the frayed ends echo the frayed distressing of the denim, it's over sized like the tee and drapes somewhat similarly, pashmina texture looks and feels great, and the length/color helps to visually break up the stark contrast of the white boots.

    Also the pattern on scarf doesn't go with the monochromatic look on rest of your stuff

    Maybe the image quality isn't great for discerning that the white checks in the scarf do not match the cream color of the ramones.

    The light, airy monochrome pattern off the scarf looked like a good way to visually break up the monochromicity (new word!) Of the harsh transition of black--> white in the other pieces.

    Also, I think a fit like this begs for an accessory like a scarf. It's more fun with something like that. I appreciate that others may disagree, though. Alternative ideas are welcome!
