Left my snowy cabin for Mexico and a costume party.

Preliminary silhouette. Dialed the blacks down. It's all brocade and lace.

Testing out the head piece. It will be sewn on, so no knot.

Grey or black?

Surreal. Trying to make my head a cloud. An artist friend will be sewing it on me.

I'm dealing with limited resources at my cabin and here. And a decided anti-costume party bias.

Gray looks like you're made of smoke. Black looks more abstract.

I may make two heads. One for early and one later. Or combine the two fabrics but then I don't think I could see much.

Think I need the hat.

Really hoping I can find a dark corner and just get to this.

A friend of mine is a junior designer at a studio that does some work for Lemaire. When he tried to sit in on a design review, Lemaire kicked him out. 😅
