It’s exactly because I find it basic that there is nothing to discuss, and even if it’s expensive clothing, it doesn’t change the fact it still looks very basic.
And I am sorry (got nothing against you) but in both case, I don’t think it looks flattering on you. More balanced outfits would look better.

You’ve confused complexity, strangeness, and forum brand cred for having style. Most of the fits here are like the above (tragically ugly) or mid-beyond-belief (could have copied page 32 from the LL Bean catalogue for $120 all-in but instead bought a bunch of stuff on sale from NMWA for 10x to look exactly the same).

Perhaps you think there's nothing worth discussing about the fit itself, which is fine, but if you like discussion Foo posting is absolutely the best thing to happen to this thread in a long time.

I see this toddler silhouette a lot on here. I don’t get it as an aesthetic choice for an adult, but it is adorable I guess.

Should lean in more and swap the boots for booties.

Not trying to further bash you, but didn’t you spend all this money on your sweatpant fit? You could’ve simply gone to Uniqlo if you wanted to look like a dude going to my local Planet Fitness for the first time.

You’re not standing out with that fit anymore than the guys you’re calling out, and maybe that’s your intention, but I do think you should size up on the shirt. You’re a smaller guy with very little shape on your torso, so why emphasize that?

If you think they look just like plain vanilla sweatpants, then I can’t help. One can similarly dismiss any refined or evolved version of a thing.

I am playing around with the shirt. But I do like the tighter shirt in combination. It tucks in super clean.

I am not bashing other posters for shopping at NMWA. I am bashing calling something “basic” as if that is a bad thing and criticizing folks for confusing brand / vendor credibility for style. Reading comprehension.

I didn’t say the other poster looked like a toddler. I said he was wearing a toddler silhouette.

I’m not sure that I even understand this comment. The proportions of this are not dissimilar to 80’s Armani. I mean, I like the silhouette of really voluminous pants - they remind me of old aikido uniforms, but this is not even that. The proportions are close to classic.
