I don't know if you're looking for feedback but if I were you I would try some pants with less taper. Or just wider all around. Imho the slim tapered stuff makes you look unnecessarily top heavy.
I feel that. I was confronting the tucked/untucked binary and ended up tucked, which is not something I ever do. I did think SF would approve but also augured the jeans being seen as too slim.

I’m posting shit pics from here on out. VALHALLA.

My body shape is similar to yours. I feel like untucked looks worse much of the time in terms of accentuating a larger mid section over slim legs.

I don’t think that tucking is a bad thing, I think the issue was the tuck was too tight/restricting which resulted in seeing the outlines of your abdomen. I think tucking is great if you have a belly, you just need to loosen the tuck a bit so the shirt floats rather than constricts/restricts.

can this be attributed, at least partially, to the camera angle? it looks tilted forwards.

The tucked t-shirt is the real problem.
I thought that this was some sort of weird fuck-you-new-yourker sort of thing, deliberate. I do not know if the poster is from New York, neither have I ever been to New York, but this looks very New-Yorker to me.

I don’t know if I was consciously summoning that, but perhaps NYC has rubbed off on me. I live in Brooklyn.

I like everything apart from the jeans, which seem a bit "too much" in the context. Some non-pre-patched (right?) faded jeans would be perfect, or something non-denim,

Birthday fit, yo. 51 spins around the sun (or is it the moon? I can never remember). Either way, whew! Just happy to be here.

deets:
Layer-0 (hat)
Geoffrey B Small (Jkt and shirt)
Everlane (tee)
SLP (jeans)
OG Cdiem (derbz)
Backlash (bag)
Nice to see you round these parts again and happy birthday! It was mine on Saturday, 49 rather than 51 but pretty close. I am so envious of your access to Kyoto cuisine right now. For obvious reasons, we aren't going to be able to have our usual time in Japan this year...

Does it not also depend on what kind of shirt you're tucking in? I pretty much gave up on wearing t-shirts (at least, in public), because t-shirts are unflattering on me, and tucking them in would look arguably worse.
