    Shades of brown and some grey for the winter.

    @Benesyed I think that indoor photo is doing you a disservice because the warm artificial lighting doesn’t accurately represent the color and contrast of the coat with the rest of the fit. Colors look much better in the second photo

    Also, are you moonlighting as an LL Bean rep?

    @faue the lightweight sweater and trousers are a bit incongruous with the heavy duffel and the snowy setting but maybe you’re some sorta ice man

    It was late night and I didn't have good lighting available for a full shot

    I had another pic that I jacked the brightness up on

    @MGoCrimson

    Thank you very much for your feedback, and I can certainly see your point. To offer some explanation (and, I hope, not to deflect), the coat is mid weight waxed cotton and lighter than I think it appears in the photo. And living in the Midwest my whole life, I’ve developed immunity to the cold above 0F. You’d be shocked at the number of people still walking around here in shorts.

    With that said, I can understand your criticism. Is there anything you would suggest to soften the incongruity? I’m thinking maybe a mid layer jacket and/or swapping the cotton trousers for wool ones.

    I admit I didn’t zoom in to see the thin outer shell of the duffel but waxed cotton is, to me, an odd design choice for a traditional coat historically constructed of thick weatherproof wool or at times a hefty cotton. To be honest I don’t know what to do with that. Maybe someone else can chime in.

    Yes, I have found it somewhat difficult to work into outfits for that reason (all of my duffel inspo uses thick wool coats) but I like the piece a lot and will keep trying to make it work well. Thank you again for the feedback!

    Current status: log on to SF, go to SWD WAYWT, 'like' Regis fit, log off, look at -20ºC reading on the outside thermometer, put on another old sweater...

    I’m pretty much freezing at 68 haha. I guess it just a lifetime of being in humid 98 degree weather and finding it really nice. What I’m saying is, I’m pretty much like the Jamaican bobsled team in Cool Runnings
