1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Will a Philosopher's stone turn a SS Rolex Daytona into a Rose Gold one? Because that I can get behind.

edit: that might void the warranty though... Decisions decisions.

Taper those jeans a little and chop off an inch or two and they will look way better mayne. Nice fit though!

What's going on with the Naked and Famous? Are they waxed? Our Legacy shirt looks really comfy.

Thanks. I don't know if I can taper them any more. They're the 17.5 cm cut and they're skin tight in the thigh and calves. Are you talking about the top block?

^No just from like the calf down. I think if the hem's were a little smaller, they would look less sloppy where they hit your shoes. Even half an inch can make a big difference for optimal stackage. It could also just be a matter of them being a bit too long.

    Note NN's pic directly above.

I see. I think I'd rather start with taking an inch or two off rather than tapering. They look like there's room in there but trust me, my calves are not happy. I'm sure they'll stretch a bit though. Only worn them a few times.

Edit: here's what they look like close up:

Stackers, help a brother out. How much to take off? And do I taper an already 17.5 cm leg?

I'd definitely have those hemmed, looks a bit sloppy, especially with shoes, but I don't think they necessarily need a taper.
Usually I'd take off enough fabric so they make 3-4 "stacks," which still leaves enough stacking action while not leaving them looking like a mess

By the way, those layer-0 shoes look really good. I want an eggplant purple pair of Layer-0 boots now..

Not 100% sure of the brand, sorry, tags say "something," made in France

    Thanks, Nicely.

    That makes sense.

I have some Zam J-shaped pants that seem to have a hundred stacks and I think they look good. So it's tough to go from that to jeans and know where it ends.

Thinking I'll take 2" off and see how that goes.

A ton of stacks can look good if the pants are really slim and the stacking continues evenly up the leg, but when they squash down the bottom like on Hedi Slimane jeans like that, it looks a little off.

Here's a picture of me from 5 years ago (ha) in a similar cut, I think I had 3 or so inches taken off:

I think 2" off will make them perfect. :)
