Top o' the marnin' to ya.

Are forumners honoring the day with a (tasteful) wearing of the green?

I will pull out my green argyle socks (Pantherellas, of course) for the day. This evening I have a green with yellow stripes Robert Talbott tie that I shall wear with honor.

I've got my green cufflinks on. Grolsch bottlecaps -- LOL, totally tacky.

I figure my red hair is enough of a statement on Irishness.

What's that for?
No malice intended, uriah. Just having a bit o' fun with your Dickensian name. The English traditionally have had a great deal of antipathy toward the Irish.

My apologies if I came off as rude.

(It's not easy being green...)

No apology necessary, AlanC.

I'm not an Irish hater, just a Dickens appreciater. (I think I may have invented or misspelled "appreciater," but please tell me the lot o' you got the Shaquille O'Neal reference. Maybe he's part Irish. And maybe Bernie Mac really is Black Irish.) Good point about English/Irish relations.

I'm wearing a forest green merino wool sweater (polo collar - Nordstrom house brand). I'm also wearing my Guinness socks (bought in person from the Guinness brewery in Dublin.). I'm not Irish, but my wife is 100%, so I couldn't get out of the house today without wearing some green.

My workplace decided that if you wore green, you could dress down today.

So I'm sporting a green and black golf shirt with my Lucky jeans.
