They look like crappy pre-faded jeansm but if you read his blog you realize how boss they are (at least IMO)

I think the Junya faux-denim is great (full disclosure: picked up a similar pair Tres Bien Shop had this season). They seem like a sly/funny comment on the cult of jawn authenticity, the ultimate "fake" distressing.

One could say the same about Guidis dude, at the end of the day it comes down to fabrications and tiny little details that make these things worth the extra money we spend.
