Your avatar is doughy jfk lookin' all stone cold menswear classic on a boat. Yes, that fits my "prejudices", and I'm going fire ahead and think that you're in that old picture americana fetishism crowd whether you like ACL or not. I'd say that's pretty reasonable but I could very well be wrong! v[IMG]v

Wrong indeed boss. I'm Irish and that man's picture was on the wall in nearly every house in Ireland when I was kid. That and I think he's cool as fuck.

To get back to the way off topic topic. The polo shirt is seen very differently in Europe mainly because the mod/skin aesthetic is much more important over here. I can see how people on SF think of the average overweight American in polo and chinos and go [IMG]

Polo shirts are classic summer casual wear, and I'm a fan.

Polos are a staple in my wardrobe... but I admit... as of late I've been growing bored with them

Responding to every post referencing you is really not necessary.

responding when you are called out is pretty natural if you ask me. people: shut the fuck up already, you're contributing more to the clutter than I when you try to educate me on conversational conventions.
Ends justifies the.. oh forget it

Ooooh well hold on there buddy. It's true that that's a pretty good polo fit (though on the tighter side) but it doesn't work at all with those dark, more fully-cut jeans. You need contrast and an equally tight fit on the lower half to make it cool. If you can't go any tighter than the jeans you're wearing then I recommend at least a change to some colored jeans/pants.
so like so? or tigher than this? [IMG] H&M APC (slightly lighter IRL--white weft is more vis) Chucks Second question: does the "tighter jeans" apply to all colors, or just black.

^You need jeans with either a slimmer (skinny) leg opening or less stacking/shorter inseam. These look better than the other though.
